What she needs is a guide—a mercenary… The man named Thomas arrives in shadows, an unmistakable air of danger about him, promising to help lead her through the ruined, crime-infested country. What Women Wish Men Knew About Good Sex

Reviewed by Tori Favorite Quote: Ivy Mackenzie is spending a year abroad with her mother. When she finds out her father has loaned out her car to one of his clients, a ranty text turns into something more as a strong friendship develops between them. Everything is going great until Ivy comes home. Now Gray is going to do everything possible to prove to Ivy that the only zone he wants to be in is the end zone…with her by his side.

Though not as angst driven as book one, Callihan produces another winning romance with Gray and Ivy.

Kristen Ashley does it again! Her latest romance, The Hookup, focuses on Izzy to a new town isn’t the easiest thing but Izzy is determined to make a space for herself and find happiness in every aspect of her life.

Have a bad case of the blahs? Boredom has a tendency to squelch creativity, leaving you stuck in a rut and staring into space. What to do when bored: Take a walk outside and get some fresh air. If you want added excitement, give the app Zombies, Run! It transforms your walk, jog, or run into a mission to save the humanity from a zombie apocalypse.

If you prefer to be on wheels, riding a bike or taking a drive around the neighborhood is also a great option. There are quite a few videos you can access through YouTube. Make an effort today and ensure that all beds in the house are made up. Do the dishes or run the dishwasher.

{Review} The Game Plan (Game on #3) by Kristen Callihan

No falling in love Anna Jones just wants to finish college and figure out her life. Falling for star quarterback Drew Baylor is certainly not on her to do list. Confident and charming, he lives in the limelight and is way too gorgeous for his own good. If only she could ignore his heated stares and stop thinking about doing hot and dirty things with him.

Too bad he’s committed to making her break every rule

The Hook Up (Game On, book 1) by Kristen Callihan – book cover, description, publication history.

This is one of the best books Kristen Ashley has ever written! And I say that from the perspective of someone who has read, loved, and reviewed over 40 Kristen Ashley books. But this one just hit all the right marks. It was a perfectly balanced and beautifully written romance with heat, heart, and happiness. I can’t recommend it highly enough! This was Vintage KA gold!

KA is known for her rather lengthly books but I read this in one non-stop stilling. It was everything I OMG. It was everything I could wish for. After finishing the last page of the epilogue I just sat there with my heart pounding, happy tears spilling out of my eyes, and the hugest smile on my face.

The hook up

I just finished A Season of Eden and as much as I enjoyed it, it was a bit toned down for my liking. The gist of the story is this: I think she is 21 and he is I love teacher student, but I would like more where the teacher is the female.

September 7, Sold by: Amazon Digital Services, Inc. I honestly thought this would suck as the male lead character, Drew, is so perfect! Gorgeous, super hawt, the star quarterback, that type of guy who lots of girls would die for, and so honest and down to earth. I was scratching my head, can’t believe that an author would dare create a perfection like that!

And then the female lead, Anna, has insecurity issues. Right, typical characters for romance novels, perfect guy falls in love with damaged girl. Another thing that bothered me SO. The never-ending fucking sessions seemed tiring. I was actually skipping Suddenly everything became tooo awesome!

She trusted him that completely. And no one else. But he had that from the beginning. The story brings us Eliza that just moved into a new town and happened to have a one-night stand with a super-hot, super-nice, super-rich and super-friendly guy called Johnny. One thing leads to the other and they both start having feelings for each other. Reading this, I already knew it was going to be a rocky road until the main couple ended together.

The Hook Up is one of those books that has been on my TBR for FOREVER! All my friends loved it, and here I am, picking it up well over a year after it’s release. This, my friends, is a fail moment for me. I seem to be having a lot of those in the book world.4/5(K).

InkslingrPR I don’t know whether to sigh or swoon. This book was all the best things I can’t tell you how excited I am about a new series from the Queen, Kristen Ashley. Eliza “Izzy” Forrester moved to Matlock, Kentucky to get away from an ex-boyfriend turned possessive and stalkerish. She was a really great heroine – sweet as apple pie with a huge heart hung out on her sleeve for everyone to see. Izzy had a hard life growing up, but if asked, she will tell you that the Forrester girls were a happy little family I loved how Izzy took that life though and learned to make the best of it, which has manifested in adulthood with her bargain finds and shabby chic decorating skills.

I had a great emotional connection to Izzy, so I was totally feeling all the insecurity and turmoil during the early stages of her relationship with our hero. She shouldn’t have looked for the dreamers. She should have found a man who knows all the different types of motor oil. Johnny Gamble is one cool operator and all-around great guy, but also one of our typical Kristen Ashley alpha males.

I love that he was a man’s man but also treated Izzy with kid gloves.

But Johnny makes it clear he wants more and Izzy already knows she wants as much of hot-in-bed, sweet-out-of-it Johnny Gamble. Floating on air thinking this is going somewhere, Izzy quickly learns why Johnny holds distant. Someone who left him and did it leaving him broken. Whoever was up next would be runner up, second best. Until out of nowhere, his lost love comes back to town. And Izzy knew the stakes, so she makes it easy and slips through his fingers.

That and the fact Eliza Forrester makes breakfast with a canary singing on her shoulder and fills out tight dresses in a way Johnny Gamble cannot get out of his head.

I was hanging out on twitter, as usual, when a random tweet from Kristen Callihan mentioned a NA book she had just written. My eyes whipped back so fast I think I strained a muscle as I furiously pounded out a review request. Callihan writes the Darkest London series, one of my favorite paranormal historical romance series, so I went into the story feeling confident. What I got out of it was so much more.

There’s no other author more perfectly suited for the holidays than Kristen Ashley. Her books are filled with love, honesty, family, and a soothing approach to romance that makes this reader swoon. The Hookup doesn’t start out as a slow-burning like-to-lust romance/5.

A beard-related dare and one hot-as-hell kiss changes everything. Except when it comes to one particular woman. The bearded, tattooed, mountain of man-muscle looks more like a biker than a football player. Fi ought to guard her heart and walk away; they live vastly different lives in separate cities. And Dex is looking for a forever girl. But Dex has upped his game and is using all his considerable charm to convince Fi he’s her forever man.
